Avon Foundation and Institute for Medicine: Ending Violence @ Home
Ending Violence @ Home is a global competition for web-based or mobile apps related to preventing domestic or dating violence. Interested applicants must register by May 31, 2012.
Choice Neighborhoods Initiative -- Planning Grants
This HUD program will make 17 - 20 awards, of up to $300,000 each, to applicants that will create neighborhood revitalization plans. Applications are due 5/1/12.
Migrant Education Program (MEP) Consortium Incentive Grants Program
The US Dept of Edu will award $3 million over 47 awards for programs designed to improve the delivery of services to migrant children whose education is interrupted.
Native Plant Conservation Initiative
The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation will grant a total of $380,000 in awards that support projects focusing on education, restoration and research of plant conservation strategies.
Presidential Awards for Excellence in Science, Mathematics and Engineering Mentoring
NSF will award $10,000 to up to 16 nominated individuals and organizations for their outstanding mentoring efforts to enhance the participation of individuals in STEM opportunities.
PROHIBITION Community Engagement Grants
WETA is offering grants to help stations explore themes and issues related to this new film by Ken Burns.
Risk Management Education and Outreach Partnerships Program
The USDA will award a total of $3 million in cooperative partnership agreements designed to provide educational outreach and training to agricultural producers and ranchers.
Youth Empowerment Program
HHS will grant $1.5M across six awards for collaborative projects addressing unhealthy behaviors in at-risk minority youth, and promoting a more positive lifestyle.
YouthBuild Grants
This Department of Labor grant funds programs that provide education and job training skills to low-income youth.

This foundation makes public television grants, specifically in public television activities that relate to the educational services public television can provide.
Chesapeake Bay Trust
The Trust is currently accepting applications for outreach and awareness grants. Deadline: July 6, 2012.

The mission of this foundation is to provide underserved Americans with the knowledge, skills and tools necessary for financial success throughout life.
