APTS is excited to announce the launch of it's grasstops advocacy group, the Leadership Council. We are actively seeking Council members and are asking all stations to nominate at least one community person (Board Member, major donor, station volunteer, etc) to represent your station on the Council.  You can find additional information on the type of people you should nominate to the Council in the program guide.

Initial applications for the Leadership Council are due to Ilona Piaskowy (ipiaskowy@apts.org; fax: 202-654-4236) by Monday, November 17.

The first Leadership Council Member Call will take place on Thursday, November 20 at 1pm EST. Judy Woodruff of the News Hour with Jim Lehrer will join us on this call to give in-depth post-election analysis. So hurry and get your Council Member nominated so they can participate in this unique opportunity!
