March 31, 2005 -- Lansing, Michigan. The Michigan Association of Public Broadcasters (MAPB) elected Thom Paulson, General Manager of Interlochen Public Radio, as President of the MAPB.
Paulson is also the Vice President for Media of the Interlochen Center for the Arts. He began working at Interlochen Public Radio in 1976, become Manager in 1981, and Vice President for Radio in 1991. Paulson also serves as Vice President of the Michigan Public Radio Network.
